Do I need to say all this stuff? Okay, and then we're going to read into closed session, which I want to say again is why we actually recessed the meeting from May 5th so that we can go into this closed session that could take a while. [00:00:24] Mr. Turner, will you please read us into closed session? I move the Board of Supervisors recess this public meeting and enter into closed session pursuant to sections 2.23711A8 and A29 of the Code of Virginia to consult with legal counsel pertaining to the negotiation of a collective bargaining agreement where public funds are being expended and where negotiations in open session would adversely affect the bargaining position of the county. Motions made and seconded. Discussion on the motion. All in favor, please say aye. Aye. [00:00:55] Any opposed? That motion will pass 504 with four of our colleagues being off today as Mr. Kirshner, Mr. Glass, Ms. Brixman, and Mr. Crony. [00:34:08] We ready? We ready? All right, we have returned, and Mr. Turner, will you please read us out of closed session? I move the closed session be adjourned, that the Board of Supervisors reconvenes at the public meeting, that the minutes of the public meeting should reflect that no formal action was taken in the closed session, and further move that the resolution certifying the closed session be adopted and reflected in the minutes of this public meeting. [00:34:33] Motion is made. Seconded by Supervisor Umstadt. Discussion on the motion. All in people please say aye. Aye. Aye. Any opposed? That motion will pass 5-4. Affirm. Where everyone please affirm. Affirm. And I affirm as well. I am now calling to a close the May 5th business meeting. Thank you, everybody. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Coraggio Consulting ยท aguyonx.com
