However, the clerk and I were notified by Ms. Corbo that she is unable to attend the meeting today. [00:00:27] So with that, we will move to item two, our closed session. Is there a motion, Mr. Mahedby? - Yes, Chair, I move to the Long County School Board, recess this public meeting, and enter into a closed meeting pursuant to Section 2.2.3712 of the Code of Virginia for the following reason. Discussion, consideration, and salaries of prospective candidates for employment as division superintendent as authorized by Section 2.2.3711A1 of the Code of Virginia and shall dispense with the attendance of the superintendent or his designee pursuant to Virginia Code Section 22.1-69 during a portion or all of this meeting. [00:01:00] Sir, a second. Seconded by Ms. Ogadegbe. Any discussion? Seeing none, all those in favor of the motion, please raise your hand and say aye. Aye. That motion will pass unanimously of board members present with Corbo and Beatty absent for the vote. We are now in closed session. [01:40:59] The board is coming out of closed session. Is there a motion, Mr. Mahedby? Yes, Chair. I move that the closed meeting be adjourned.
