[00:00:26] - Good afternoon. I call to order this extra special school board meeting for a closed session on Wednesday, July 5th, 2023. The first item on our agenda is 102, remote participation. I've been notified that Denise Corbo would like to remotely participate in tonight's school board meeting.

[00:00:44] Ms. Corbo, could you please state your location, whether this is a medical or personal matter, and if anyone is present with you at your location? - Okay, Ms. Corbo does not appear to be on the line, so we will close that item and move to item two, our closed session i move that the loudon county school board recess this public meeting and enter into a closed meeting pursuant to section 2.2-3712 of the code of virginia for the following discussion or consideration of the performance and discipline of specific public employees as authorized by section 2.2-3711a1 of the code of virginia and consultation with legal counsel

[00:01:22] employed or retained by a public body regarding specific legal matters including such discussion or consideration of the performance and discipline of specific public employees which requires the provision of legal advice by such counsel as authorized by section 2.2-3711-88 of the Code of Virginia. That motion will pass unanimously of board members present with Polifco, Beatty, and Corbo absent for the vote. We're now in closed

[02:11:00] All right. Board is coming out of closed session. Is there a motion, Mr. Mahedvy? Yes, Chair. I move that the closed meeting be adjourned, that the Loudoun County School Board reconvene its public meeting and the minutes of the public meeting reflect that no formal action was taken in the closed meeting. I move to the following resolution certifying the closed meeting be adopted and reflected in the minutes of this public meeting. Resolution 1-23-24, whereas the Loudoun County School Board has convened a closed meeting on this date pursuant to an affirmative recorded vote and in accordance with the provisions of the Virginia Freedom of Information Act and whereas section 2.23712D of Code of Virginia requires a certification

[02:11:37] by the school board that such closed meeting was conducted in conformity with Virginia law. Now therefore be resolved that the Lowron County School Board hereby certifies that to the best of each member's knowledge only public business matters lawfully exempted from open meeting requirements by Virginia law were discussed in the closed meeting to which the certification applies and only such public business matters as were identified in the motion convening The close meeting were heard, discussed, or considered by the Lowndes County School Board.
