Welcome to the Tuesday, December 5th, 2023 Finance Operations Committee meeting. We'll start with remote participation. Have we heard anything from Ms. Corbo? No. So there will be no remote participation. There is no public comment. We'll move on to item three, which is the minutes. [00:00:17] Is there a motion? Mr. Mahedavy. Yes, Chair. I move that the committee approved the draft meeting minutes from November 14, 2023. I'll second that. Any discussion? Seeing none, all those in favor of the motion, please say aye and raise your hand. Aye. That motion will carry 2-0. Ms. Corbo absent for the vote. [00:00:34] All right. approval of consent agenda is there a motion mr. Mahedeby the committee approved the items posted in the consent agenda on the board docs i'll second that any discussion seeing none all those in favor of the motion please say aye and raise your hand aye that motion will carry two zero as well on to action items uh we'll start with new policy 6330 distribution of information and posting within schools i'll go ahead and make the motion and then i have an amendment to [00:01:05] motion to amend that I will provide so 10th agenda I move that the revised policy 6330 distribution of information and posting within schools on school grounds ordering school sponsored events be forwarded to the full school board for consideration at their January meeting do we do we have a specific date on that January that hasn't been set yet I don't think I'm at the first [00:01:39] meeting in January okay thank you all right so this was the motion or the the policy regarding how we can do just how we can distribute materials and the way it's drafted currently completely precludes us from being able to to have anybody distribute anything outside of Election Day which I think was overly restrictive and based on a lot of the comments that we received it sounded like the public felt the same way in addition it was only at the polling [00:02:16] locations which as we know is only about one-fifth of the schools so the distribution would be severely limited and so I'm going to propose a motion I move to update the policy to read as follows and we'll start with section B paragraph 2 and let me flip through to the red line do you have a copy of the [00:02:40] red line so as it reads right now paragraph B 2 which starts on line 57 [00:03:23] would be changed to read accordingly. Paragraph B, Section B, Paragraph 2. Days when community events are held. So this is an insertion of this paragraph. Political materials may additionally be handed out slash distributed during community events, including but not limited to back-to-school nights, sports competitions, religious services, or other widely attended school-sponsored and non-school-sponsored gatherings, provided that the distribution follows the guidance in paragraph 1b above and [00:03:58] then in the next paragraph which is non-election days reads as follows it would become paragraph 3 and the title would now be days not included in paragraphs 1 or 2 in section B above and it reads at all other times no political materials shall be distributed handed out conveyed in any form format on school property thank you so the discussion goes back to the limitations that were originally provided i provided some reasoning at the bottom and please note when [00:04:32] the the hard copy that i provided it it mentioned attended school sponsored events but i also wanted to include non-sponsored events so when we look at the the two distribution statements they talk about school sponsored events and other events so we're covering both school sponsored which would be like the football game and other events which could be a community meeting could be a church service could be anything like that. So the substitution allows, well, the reasoning that I [00:05:08] provided is, number one, it's current and common practice that we have today, because both you and I, when we were running for office, we were able to go to back-to-school nights. We were able to go to football games to distribute literature as long as we were complying with the 40 feet from the gate requirement. So it's current and common practice. And number two, the Virginia Code is otherwise silent on all other days of the year the only thing Virginia code talks about is election day so I think that we could continue to do our current practice with the language that I provided and it also enables us to do [00:05:46] this at all the schools and not just the schools that are polling locations so I believe it's much more consistent with current practice and that based on the public feedback that they felt that it was far too restrictive on our ability to to distribute political literature both both candidates you know school board members and candidates so that's why i'm going to propose that uh mr mehedovie thank you chair so last time when we discussed i had i had both sides of thoughts about whether we distributed and and and perhaps [00:06:24] uh supporting even the staff's current policy uh because it's got contentions at the school events when the back to school nights happen i mean i think it becomes a lot more politically charged than it's supposed to be but neither here nor say i think the next board will have to pick it up and and run with it so i'm i'm willing to however i do have a little concern with a couple items in here so when we have religious services or other events those are like you know those are when we rent out the facilities to an organization so i'm not so sure that you know i think outside i I don't know how you feel. [00:07:01] I'm willing to have entertained the discussion on this thing, saying if somebody has taken the facility, then some of the organization can start coming out and handing out literature outside. So I don't know how that will go along with it. I can see back-to-school nights or any school events make sense. [00:07:18] But I think right now, I think we only do for back-to-school nights, but not sporting events. So if there's a football game, do we want to have become a political event? I'm not so sure. So I'm willing to entertain to have just back-to-school nights or anything that the staff would like to add, but I think to open it up for any events, I think that would be a little too much from our side. [00:07:41] Okay, and I appreciate you saying that because it did dawn on me after you mentioned the religious services that my original intent was a school-sponsored gathering. So let's go back, and I'm going to amend my amendment and have it read as other widely attended school-sponsored gatherings, and we're going to strike religious services. [00:08:02] I would like to talk about sports competitions because in the past I've found that that is a good opportunity, you know, with a lot of community members coming out to stand outside of a football game on a Friday night and distribute political literature. [00:08:22] You know, people don't have to accept it. It's on a kind of a not-to-interfere basis. They just walk into the ballgame. But I fully support removing the religious services and making it school-sponsored gatherings only But I would like to retain the ability to do that during sporting events So I'd like to get some thoughts from staff. I mean how the staff feels about those first force. I know mr So I'll start I think mr. Stocks might have a couple other questions, but As the conversation is going out, I want to make sure that I understand [00:08:56] What is meant by political materials because if you're talking about a candidate for office handing out campaign literature might be different than another topic there there were millions of topics that could come up that are in the political in nature that could be handed out by anyone and so if we're talking about candidates and campaign literature or any political issue may get a little messy good point I like that interpretation and that I think maybe we'll make some more adjustments to that mr. stocks did you have any only that I [00:09:34] wanted to clarify to make sure we were understanding school sponsored events I think I got that now and that's how your original printout reads without the non school sponsored events I just want to draw attention to if this edit is is adopted today if it has any impact on section a4 because there we talk about how approval for the distribution of materials would be done distribution and posting within the school on school grounds or school sponsor activities will not be given for the materials that endorse so we would have to make a we'd [00:10:12] have to make an adjustment to four it's a four to Matt or otherwise we're contradicting right so it would say policy it would say which one okay it's for me as further described in section B3 below which now becomes it's is that now before well it's it's the entire section of B B3 is where is where it was prohibited so we were saying that's where you would capture the political materials um definition or description but if it's also impacted by b2 that may be changed to [00:10:50] as further described in section b yes so i think so is your recommendation to change that to just section b to capture all to match this language i think that would be consistent yeah so that's something to come back to and let's see so i would also support having it just campaign literature instead of political materials. [00:11:17] So the motion, the amended motion, would be campaign materials may additionally be handed out, distributed during community events. Mr. Lewis, does that kind of? Would it be too much to say campaign for public office because you don't know what other campaigns could be? [00:11:38] Yes. Okay. So campaign. We're doing this on the fly. Very good. Sausage making campaign. So I'm just going to jump in, Chair. So, again, maybe I know you were guys going through this thing, but I still have a lot of hesitations beyond back to school night or any other event or sport competitions events. [00:12:04] I see you like you can go on Friday, but that's not what we want it to become. I mean, I think the idea is it's already we have elections every year, and our schools should not be a place where I can see back to school night where school board wants to run and run to meet and greet parents. [00:12:22] I can see supervisors who want to come and meet and greet. I think those are typically two most type of campaign on public offices that actually come to the back-to-school night. So I'm not going to be able to support beyond the back-to-school night unless there's some precedence of how we're doing other events. [00:12:41] Because this thing will become just like a political – every event will be a political event. We currently have that. So I don't know if you've ever campaigned at a football game or anything like that. you've never done that you've never seen that okay because okay I do feel like you're like going down that route we're significantly limiting the you know the interactions of people so let me let me see in order to get through this we're [00:13:17] gonna have to agree otherwise it's just gonna gonna be sure so what I know this is staff I think is seeing this but how are other divisions doing this like Fairfax or Prince William I know I'm asking the fly here you may not have the answers to that but that's yeah we do not have that I know in our conversations in cabinet the staff recommendation was to just have none of that happening in our schools and so that's where the language came from the first time I will say that miss will be also pointed out that campaign literature for election [00:13:53] for public office but also we have our bond question every year that I stand it out in front of yes and so that's and remember this policy is only about distribution of information and posting so it's not about candidates or current elected officials coming in talking in and meeting with folks but we're talking about handing out so this just as related to the handing out of materials if that I may just make it more complicated but I just wanted to point that out it doesn't preclude you from participating in the meeting I guess [00:14:30] I'm trying to say yeah another the both parties also give out the count school calendar also I mean I think that's sometimes a good thing I mean I like the calendar a printed copy that they give out so I can see that besides the public office thing so well I mean so let me ask you have used I mean again if you open up beyond the back to school nights for and again I know it's we have a limited number of perspective from the from the cabinet here to say whether we should or should not allow that other events to where they can hand out this [00:15:07] I don't know so mr. stocks and probably give other examples but if a community organization a musical group or a play group you know folks that come in and put on performances in our auditoriums would be a community event it may not be a school sponsored event it may not be a back-to-school night but that is something else that would be I think covered in this in this language you know No, we just changed that language to be school-sponsored gatherings, so the musical events that you said were not school-sponsored would not be included. [00:15:42] So what I'm hearing now is materials for campaign for public office and other ballot initiatives may be handed out slash distributed during back-to-school nights, and that's the only exception you will support? [00:15:59] That's what I'm thinking. But what about the calendars? So, I mean, calendars come part of that. I mean, but they're with campaign stuff on the back. They don't just hand out. The calendar comes with a vote for Joe on the backside, right? [00:16:15] And then one more thing I see in this one where it says on line 26 to 29, which I kind of like it. It says this materials. So how are we enforcing that today? is that to you is it LCPS and forces I mean I'm guessing this language existed or is a new language is being added this is new language this was added by the communications office and they assist the school administrator or principals with this and this is the disclaimer that you would see if there's anything distributed via email or through the school just separating the affiliation [00:16:53] of the if the Boy Scouts are advertising for a event they would create that separation by adding that information to their publication I think by law campaign literature has to have paid for and authorized by the candidate or the the pack it's supposed to so going back to your question chair I think that's [00:17:31] what I'm thinking for us to pass it and again we're passing it to the next board if they like to add additional items, they're free to do that. Could I also, with just back-to-school nights, could we also add open houses? Because they're the same. Back-to-school nights slash open houses. [00:17:46] So, if you would, if you permit me, I'll go ahead and amend my amendment to read as follows. Paragraph 2. Materials for campaign for public office and other ballot initiatives may additionally be handed out slash distributed during back to school nights and open houses following the guidance in paragraph one above [00:18:10] does that sound do you have that language okay i do can you read it back just to make sure yes sir materials um sorry i'm missing a word material campaign uh materials for campaign for public office and other ballot initiatives may additionally be handed out slash distributed [00:18:47] during back-to-school nights and open houses following the guidance in paragraph 1b above correct and so that should be campaigns for yes campaigns so can i just clarify that your intent is to substitute the entirety of existing paragraph 2 for that paragraph yes this will substitute let me make sure we're not leaving anything out so this was going to be section b number two yes [00:19:26] This will replace number two, and then number three will just be the contents that you have in number two. In other words, they're shifting down, but we've removed the stipulation on the location. So now paragraph three reads, days not included in paragraphs one or two in section B above. [00:19:46] At all other times, no political materials shall be distributed, handed out, or conveyed in any format on school property. Yes. So Chair, are we keeping the current paragraph 2 as it is and just adding these two paragraphs or replacing them? [00:20:04] Well, okay, so paragraph 1 stays as is. Paragraph 2 is the one that we just added. Paragraph 3, because there's an additional change, it's no longer just non-election days. It is now days not included in paragraphs 1 or 2. [00:20:20] So all the remaining days, and we've taken out the polling site, hosting polling site out of that new paragraph three, and then accordingly becomes paragraph four. Place this, and then this is coming up here. [00:20:39] This is, that is the new paragraph two, it's the same. Yep, this is paragraph three. This is the new paragraph three, which replaces this. It says the same thing, it just pulls out the, it pulls out the piece of the hosting polling. [00:20:55] So we're replacing these two paragraphs with, for the paragraph number two then, is that right? Because we have two paragraphs. Yes, yes, exactly. So then the three will become number five. What's there right now? Okay, so clearly I am operating on a different red line version. [00:21:11] I'm just the one that's given to me. This is the one in the package. Does this match the one that? Oh, you're looking at B. Maybe I'm looking at one. Oh, yeah, flip that over. B, that's right. So here you go. It's the exact same, though. [00:21:28] It's paragraph one, as is. Paragraph two is materials for campaigns. That's the one we just added. And then three, this will become three. This becomes three, and we kind of change the language a little bit. Got it. And then it follows on to four is accordingly. So does staff follow the numbering as well? [00:21:46] Okay. Did you have any other recommendations on the policy? So let's vote on the motion to amend, and we'll make that all one amendment. So those in favor of the motion to amend, please say aye and raise your hand. [00:22:04] Aye. Okay, so that amendment will pass. Any language changes on the base? Okay. then we'll place that to vote all those in favor of forwarding the policy as amended please say aye and raise your hand aye okay so that will go to January's information board meeting they can start all over again please provide them because we're not hanging out please provide them the background of how we got here in the discussion about public the school-sponsored non-school sponsored and the other discussion that we had tonight absolutely thank you okay [00:22:40] terrific well that was the meaty one let's move on to action 5.02 which is support services contract word IFB 23 5 2 4 for security vestibule improvements at all the Hamilton and Lincoln elementary schools is there a motion see have you got that up let me get it okay I find it first I'll call it out five two I am moved to the finance and operations committee recommend to the [00:23:13] County School Board to approve the contract award award for IFB 23 524 for security vestibule improvements for all the Hamilton and Lincoln elementary schools to TMG construction in the amount of two million one hundred ninety eight thousand and authorize the chair of the school board to sign the final contract documents upon presentation I'll second any discussion on that and so [00:23:50] is is two bids kind of what we now expect to to receive we like to have more but with these smaller projects particularly with the vestibules we have contractors that have been doing them so we were happy to have the two bids and we're happy to have them competitive bids and they've they've already done some of the vestibules so that learning curve they've already quite a bit of them yes any other discussion on that uh seeing no one place a motion to vote all those in favor of the motion please say aye and raise your hand aye that motion will carry to zero with miss corvo absent for the vote and i'll read 503 i moved that the finance operations committee recommend the school board to approve contract award ifb 23525 for security vestibule improvements at [00:24:29] middleburg community charter school to tmg construction in the amount of 449 000 and authorizes the chair of the school board to sign the final contract document upon presentation second any discussion on this i will place the motion to vote all those in favor of the motion please say aye and raise your hand aye that motion will carry 2-0 miss corbo absent for the vote on to 5.04 is there a motion mr. madame i move to the finance and operations committee recommend that the lounger county school board approve the contract award ifp 23 526 for harper park middle school roofing renovation project to simpson unlimited in the amount of two million [00:25:07] nine hundred and seventy two thousand four hundred and seventy five dollars rolling ridge elementary school roofing renovation project to simpson unlimited in the amount of one million nine hundred and ninety six thousand seven hundred and seventy five dollars Leesburg elementary school roofing renovation project to patuxent roofing and contracting in the amount of one million six hundred and five thousand nine hundred and ninety seven dollars sugarland elementary school roofing renovation to patuxent took patuxent roofing and contracting project in the amount of two million one hundred and five thousand six hundred forty one [00:25:44] dollars and authorized the chair of school board to sign the final contract [00:25:48] documents upon presentation I'm going to second that when we do the roofing [00:26:27] project this is like the roof of the entire middle school yes so those are replaced at the end of their life 20 25 years and facilities does a condition assessment it works for their contractors to replace those and then the construction department does the design works the architect and puts those out so it's a it's a life cycle replacement issue this Harper Park also have that is it similarly built to Riverbender Riverbend middle school or Seneca Ridge remember the issue one of the when they're looking to have the sunlight access to the libraries I don't know if that's if you remember we I [00:27:06] think was Seneca Seneca Ridge school that we talked about yeah there was there were some some discussions about skylights in that yeah Harper Park was that was is the new prototype we'll call that it is a little bit different it has a mansard roof a metal roof on around part of it more of it than some of the other schools but I believe they do have the skylights in the cafeteria we're not we're not sure about that okay but would it would this be the time to make adjustments to that if you need to not necessarily when when you go into a project like that it would be I mean we could we could if we were gonna go and [00:27:46] do that it's a it's a much larger project because you've got air conditioning units if there's not a skylight already there and you go to put that in then you have a tremendous amount of infrastructure above there that you have to cut into so it's a pretty major project and you could do that without replacing the roof this would make sense to do that but right now we're not in program to do that and we are programmed to do the roof and it looks like mr. trainer wants to add something to that we just like to add that the discussion we had was on the four older middle schools simpson seneca ridge sterling and blue Ridge those schools do not have windows in most of the classrooms and that was [00:28:23] the big purpose for for putting the skylights in Harper Park the houses do have a lot of windows in the classroom so it's a slightly different design you could add skylights to it but it's not as needed at this school as it is at the four older middle schools so I just want to be noted that I didn't want to make a request if that was possible to add skylights when we're doing the roofing project where necessary so thank you yep okay seeing no further discussion we'll place the motion to vote all those in favor of the motion please say aye and raise your hand aye that motion [00:29:03] will carry 2-0 Ms. Corvo absent for the vote we're on to 5.05 which is deed of dedication easement and vacation related to centerfield farm drive is there a motion Mr. Mejedevi I move that the finance and operations committee recommend that the Launay County School Board approve the deeds uh of dedication easement and vacation associated with the center field farm drive project and authorize the chair to sign the deed upon presentation i'll second that any discussion [00:29:43] it's pretty straightforward all right uh place the motion to vote all those in favor of the motion please say aye and raise your hand aye that motion will carry 2-0 with miss corvo on to 5.05 just jumped down to 3.15 so hold on for a second where's 5.06 automotive here it is Okay, it was a straight page. [00:30:14] All right, do you have 5.06 in front of you? Is there a motion, Mr. Mahadami? Yes, Chair. I move to the Finance and Operations Committee and recommend that the Lowndes County School Board award the RFP R24251 automotive and special vehicle parts effective from the date of award through, let me read this again. [00:30:34] So awards RFP R24251 automotive and special vehicle parts effective from the date of award through December 31st, 2024, for the attach award recommendations. I'll second that. [00:30:49] Further discussion? What's the value of this contract, 3.6 million? 3.6 million. That's 25% increase this year. [00:31:09] We attribute this to inflation as well. Inflation as well as what's going on with vehicle parts across the board anyway. Some of them are hard to get as well. But yes, that is attributed to the current market trend. [00:31:26] So there is still a supply chain issues of parts? I mean, I don't know. We do still have some supply chain issues with things, but if you've experienced it personally, vehicle part prices have gone up. They're also harder to get because of manufacturing. [00:31:44] So I did go back and double-check, and it was 25% average increase. So this is a public forum. I don't know when we as the United States are going to bring manufacturing back to our country. I don't know. I mean, this is, I don't know, if COVID was not a wake-up call, I'm not sure what it is, so I just want to leave it there. [00:32:01] Bringing it back would be great, but I don't think that would help the pricing. I think that that would be, it would help the establishment of a reliable chain. But Caterpillar engine, where do we have, I assume this is a massive engine. [00:32:17] Do we have our own Caterpillar? Most likely that is in one, maybe even in, I'm not sure what brand that is. It might be in the bus. I don't know. Do we have, it could be a diesel engine in the bus. [00:32:33] um just that's a good question it would be interesting i'm guessing but okay we'll find that out i'm interested myself yeah i mean and i know that we do cost benefit analysis to determine whether these units are getting too old to keep refurbing as we do in our private lives with our cars that are dying so we do have some small quantity of caterpillar equipment within facilities we have a loader we have several skid steers that are made by caterpillar yeah that makes sense stuff. So smaller excavator, uh, a mini excavator type stuff. So, but it, it likely in this case [00:33:10] is probably, I would think school bus engines. Okay. Further discussions? Seeing none, place the motion to vote. All those in favor of the motion, please say aye and raise your hand. Aye. That motion will carry two zero. Ms. Corbo absent for the vote. Uh, next up is five dot zero seven. I'll make this one. I move the finance operations committee recommend the London County school Board Award RFP R24250, Language Interpretation and Translation Services to Liberty Language Services and PGLS, LLC, effective from the date of award through July 31st, 2025. [00:33:46] Okay, any discussions on this? So the previous award we had until December 2024, and this is July 2025, so curious. This is actually a new award. [00:34:02] We did not previously have a solicitation awarded for these services. We were using various cooperative contracts, and based on the increased need for these services, we worked with the Department of Student Services to issue this solicitation. [00:34:19] Are we challenged at all in extending contracts? Typically, we do a one-year with renewals and options. So does the year and a half buy down some of the cost or the risk? Why do we go for a year and a half? [00:34:34] No. The reason we do the year and a half is we're figuring it's going to take six months to get a good process set up with the vendor so it'll full-fledged work properly from 2024 to 2025 we build that in when it's project based to give us time to get it up and running we will still get our one-year renewal options after that year and a half good and I see you had 28 vendors response so clearly we had a lot of solicitations there's a good market out there okay further discussion seeing none we'll place the motion to vote all those in favor of the motion please say aye and raise your hand aye that motion will carry 2-0 with [00:35:09] Ms. Corbo absent for the vote and the final action item of our term is 5.08 business financial services uh revised state cost per pupil for tuition purposes their motion Mr. Mahedovee yes chair i move to the finance and operation committee recommended the loung county school board Adopt as the revised tuition rates for the 2023-2024 school year $14,482 for in-state [00:35:42] out-of-county and $21,015 for the out-of-state students. I'll second that. Any discussion? So I see that this is... Yeah, Mr. Mahedepi. So I see that this has been updated based on the document that's shared that it's been revised from 14 30 14 30 14,000 338 to 14,000 42 based on the budget increase I [00:36:13] guess yes so back in September you set the tuition rates based on the adopted budget at that time for FY 24 also at that time we had signaled that we knew we had this pending we were waiting to see what's going to happen at the state as well as with the county and that if there was to be an additional supplemental we would be back so since then and as included in the board docs the school board did request the additional 12 million related to the additional funding we received from the state and the Board of Supervisors did [00:36:51] approve and provide that budget supplemental on November 9th so our budget did increase by 12 million and then per policy we are recalculating the tuition rates based on that revised budget do any of the state reports update those numbers or do we just provide them at the beginning of the year we calculate and then we're required to post them on the website and I'm trying to think what else besides the website I think other than that I think that's our requirement and then of course the accounting team takes this in terms of [00:37:26] actual to apply for the actual invoicing mr. matter miss will be I don't know if you have this but typically how many out-of-state students do we get you would ask that I was gonna try and dig up the historical what I can share is that I think we have less than I'm positive we have less than five I think it's only a few students that actually attend year-round what this really policy really is I'm covering are the transition students you know families that happen to be moving into the county they want to you know start their [00:38:04] student in their school or they are moving out but they don't want to have their child have to you know change schools in terms of how many of those we have nine students that have been charged this year one out of state for the full year five in or out of county for the full year and then four that have been transitory either seven days or 18 days so minimal so I'm gonna ask one more question on that is that how many of these are like I think the challenge something we hear from sometimes staff how many are these staff students I guess you know again are there any of these staff I believe we [00:38:44] have one. So I don't know. I mean, this would have been in the budget to, I don't know if there's a possibility to. We can say anything, but we can't do anything. We can actually make suspend the rules and send it as an action item to the, we have a still of a meeting coming up on Tuesday. We could. I don't. [00:39:07] So there's a policy associated with this. So we're talking about a policy change. And I think it's a bridge too far. I like where you're going with this. I would say that as we're looking to fill holes with our with our educators and it gets tighter and tighter market i think that is one of the viable options that we need to look at is to provide them the opportunity to bring their children in from out of county i prefer they moved into the county but i understand the county is not the most forgiving when it comes to rent or cost of living so it is challenging but i think [00:39:43] that's something that the next board really should consider and you can relay that onto them as well further discussion i think none we'll place a motion to vote all those in favor of the motion please say aye and raise your hand aye the motion will carry to zero with mr corbo absent for the vote i just want to uh thank staff for the 12 years that i've been the finance chair because i think i've been almost 12 uh maybe one or two off but for the most part uh it's been quite a quite a role and uh the amount of of work that goes into this preparing for this this committee [00:40:20] is tremendous. It's an important function that we, you know, try to provide that transparency to the community with what we're doing with the taxpayers' funds. But I sincerely appreciate all of the dedication and hard work from both you and your staffs that went into creating and supporting the committee. So thank you all very much. I hope that your new Finance and Operations Committee hits the ground running and that they are brought up to speed quickly. [00:40:48] I know you will do your part to get them moving, but I couldn't thank you enough for the support that you've given us. Mr. Meheve. Thank you, Chair. I'll just echo that, and I guess this is only my first year. I got to learn a lot, and thanks for being patient and bearing with me also. [00:41:05] I want to say that, and especially Ms. Philo. I know I've been asking a lot of those questions, but I think it was all in the earnest of trying to understand and see if I can add any value to it. So I know you guys, I think this is something we have talked about as far as the staff, all of us does the hard work. [00:41:25] I know this is the message we shared during, I think Mr. Lewis was there with the new board coming in and the dedication of the staff and the effort that you guys put in is appreciated at least by us. I know Mr. Morse has talked about it. [00:41:41] I've shared this on the desk many times. And again, I appreciate everything you guys are doing for Lowron County and for the students and for the community etc so I was glad to be I was like better late than never so I got this chance to be part of this group so thank you again thank you for being patient and continue I guess thank you yeah and I'll say that we really appreciate your all's willingness to be prepared for these meetings because we realize how much it is it's a lot to get up to speed with and we understand the commitment it takes to that you've done a terrific job having that and supporting us through that process so it's it's much appreciated and and I believe we'll [00:42:19] be able to pass on to the next committee that you have a record of like 10 or 11 minutes to get one of these meetings done. So we'll pass that on as well. Time to bring it on. That's right. Thanks a lot. We appreciate it. Very good. Is there any new business? Seeing as there's no new business, we are adjourned. Thank you. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Coraggio Consulting · aguyonx.com
