Excuse me. I'm joined by my fellow board members, Ms. Anne Donahue and Dr. Linda Deans. And we don't have any parents here today, so I'm going to ask my colleagues to confirm that they have read through the packet all of the information given by the parents. [00:00:47] I move that the Loughton County School Board recess this public meeting and enter into a closed meeting pursuant to 2.2-3712 of the Code of Virginia for the following discussion or consideration of matters that would involve the disclosure of information contained in a scholastic record concerning a student namely the parents request for an appeal of a student walk zone which [00:01:18] is authorized by 2.2 - 3711.82 of the Code of Virginia second thank you Miss Donahue the motion having properly introduced and seconded we will vote on it now all those in favor of convening this closed session say aye aye opposed hearing no opposition we will now move into closed session thank you their motion yes thank you miss LaBelle I move that the closed meeting be adjourned at the Loudoun County School Board reconvene its public meeting and that [00:01:55] the minutes of the public meeting reflect that no formal action was taken in the closed meeting is there a second to that motion a second all in favor say aye aye aye all opposed hearing no opposition the motion passes three to zero do I hear a motion to certify the closed meeting dr. Dean I move that the following resolution certifying the closed [00:02:26] meeting be adopted and reflected in the minutes of this public meeting resolution 02-2526 whereas Whereas the Loughton County School Board has convened a closed meeting on this date pursuant to an affirmative recorded vote and in accordance with the provisions of the Virginia Freedom of Information Act. [00:02:51] And whereas 2.2-3712D of the Code of Virginia requires a certification by the school board that such closed meeting was conducted in conformity with Virginia law. [00:03:07] Now, therefore, be it resolved that the Loughton County School Board hereby certifies that to the best of each member's knowledge, one, only public business matters lawfully exempted from open meeting requirements by Virginia law were discussed in the closed meeting to which this certification applies. [00:03:29] And two, only such public business matters as were identified in the motion convening the closed meeting were heard, discussed, or considered by the Lownton County School Board. Second.
