I move that the Loudoun County School Board recess this public meeting and enter into a closed meeting Persuade of 2.2 - 3 7 1 2 of the code of Virginia for the following a Discussion and evaluation of the performance of the superintendent and conduct and conduct his annual performance evaluation and Consultation with legal counsel employed or retained by a public body regarding contractual matters

[00:04:57] requiring the provision of legal advice by such counsel as advised by sections 2.2-3711A1 and A8, and a discussion or consideration of the acquisition of real property for a public purpose or of the disposition of publicly held real property where discussing in an open meeting would adversely affect the bargaining position or negotiating strategy of the public body, as authorized by section 2.2-3711A3 of the Code of Virginia.

Whereas the Loudoun County School Board has convened a closed meeting on the date pursuant to an affirmative recorded vote and in accordance with the provisions of the Virginia Freedom of Information Act and

[05:06:06] whereas 2.2 - 3 7 1 2 D of the Code of Virginia requires a certification by the school board that such closed meeting was conducted in conformity with Virginia law now therefore be it resolved that the Loudoun County School Board hereby certifies that to the best of each member's knowledge one only public business matters were lawfully matters lawfully exempted from open meeting requirements by Virginia law were discussed in the closed meeting to which this certification applies, and two, only such public business matters as were identified in the motion convening the closed meeting were heard, discussed, or considered by the Loudoun County School Board. I move that the Loudoun County School Board authorize the board chair to execute an amendment to the LCPS superintendent contract in conformity with the terms discussed in closed session.
